A
great day to be on the water
Yesterday was one of those days that really makes you
appreciate the great outdoors in Carteret County. It is a
great place to call home.
It is easy to have fun when the sky and waters are blue and
calm.
This picture was taken in Bogue Inlet. There were lots of
boats anchored and trying to catch some fish.
This morning the temperatures are a lot cooler. It is the
first time in a long time that I have seen 60 degrees
Fahrenheit on our thermometer.
The Jacksonville paper had
a nice online editorial
about fall on the coast.
"Around here September and many times October and even into
November can be warm and sunny and more reminiscent of
spring weather than autumn."
Each day that I can enjoy the out of doors is another
credit that will make our brief winter seem even shorter.
Yesterday was
another great sunset.
It was a great way to finish a really nice "fall" day.
